After LHS, I attended University of Washington, then moved to Santa Rosa, California when my dad retired. Moved back to Seattle and called it home until 2002, when fate took us to Miami. To escape, we bought a 49-foot trawler, sold everything else, and left Miami for Seattle in 2007. After exploring life in various Central American ports, we've settled in La Paz, Baja, Mexico. Career wise, I've had several iterations -- the cruise industry (where I met my husband) and human resources/professional development being the main focus. Once we got on the boat, I took up freelance writing, which I still do, while I decide what I want to be when I grow up.

I guess you might say we haven't landed yet, as we explore what life might look like without the boat.
